Lasting Change Letters was created by Julia Nelsen. Julia was diagnosed with Epithelioid Sarcoma in 2023. Julia had always been a letter writer. During her month in the hospital, family and friends flooded her with loving letters. Those letters offered an escape and a sense of connection.

Honoring all cancer fighters and survivors

Lavender or light purple is often used to represent all cancers. With more than 100 types of cancer, many rare or lesser-known cancers do not have a dedicated or widely recognized ribbon color.
Using one unified color allows people to show support for the entire cancer community and advocate for everyone affected, regardless of their specific diagnosis.
